I've been trying to move some stuff I've collected over the years, and I can't give it away! Has rat rodding died or is it eBay?

Maybe try FaceBook Marketplace? I haven't used it to sell anything, but have a lead on some parts I am needing from an ad someone placed there. (I don't know anything of how it works as a seller.)

My buddy that used to sell on daBay & Craig's has switched to FB Marketplace. He lists on all 3 now but prefers FB.

Not just rat rod stuff. I have put a few different things up and if they sell there seems to be no bidding wars. I do Craigslist but will look into FB. Jim

I sold a bike a few weeks ago. Had one bid on last day at a low reserve. Will try something different next time.

eBay is mostly Chinese junk now. More drop shippers than anything else. Last few items I listed for sale at give away prices didn’t even get a bid. Still a good place to buy though, if you find something you need. I’m still finding some parts for my Lincoln, good thing is I seldom have any competition bidding. And they are charging tax now, so some good deals aren’t so good anymore.

Yep. Look anything up without really refining your search and you get 5,000 duplicate pieces of "Buy it now" garbage. It got so bloated with crap everybody left.
