Not likely an original considering its not the original motor... from the description its kinda obvious its not a legit car in my opinion.

Yeah, anyone interested should know. On the sale bill they have the serial number and it isn't even a K code car. But they still try to ride the hype by calling it rare without really admitting it's a fake.

"1965 Ford Mustang Convertiblem w/Shelby Cobra GT 350 attributes"

Doesn't say it's a real Shelby Cobra GT 350, it says it has Shelby Cobra GT 350 attributes, just a fancy way to say it has Cobra parts on a standard Mustang. I guess if you don't do your homework and check to see if it's a real Shelby or not, you deserve what you get...........

They have edited the ad since it was first listed. It was billed as a Shelby and the serial number wasn't there. I sent them a message, probably others did too.

Never seen or heard of any ragtops in that year. If they did indeed make 4... pretty sure they'd be in some rich guys collection & not on CL!!!

ATTRIBUTES... now THAT'S funny!!! :eek::eek::eek:

I have seen several fake ones though!

Awhhh, maybe after they read your email they decided they might better be truthful instead of looking at the possibility of a lawsuit after the sale for fraud......
