Yeah, notice how all this came about after their ratings sank & they were going to cancel the whole show. Then mysteriously they made the break! Totally scripted! I have no use for any of them!

Ive quit watching all those shows because its gotten so choreographed, and I can barely watch "The Soup" which just highlights all the rest of the crap on TV.

I didn't realise it was a 'Trailer Queen' build off.
Jr is such a whining little baby who will willingly be filmed fighting with his Dad (for money..class?)..thankfully for the script writers and producers he doesn't need much coaching for his part.
Love or loathe JJ his skill and passion for learning is something we could all learn from.
Thanks to all of those who watch it all three are now many many thousands richer.

I didn't watch it, but probably would have if i had known it was on..I used to watch American Choppers all the time, but did tire of the fighting..I mostly liked watching Vinnie and Rick actually build something..anybody can open a box of mail order parts and bolt'em on..Rick wasn't afraid to grab a sandbag and a mallet and start beating on a piece of sheetmetal..thats what I like about Jesse too..He can make anything out of nothing..He's good and he knows it..He could tone down the cockiness and arrogance though, it may be just for TV, but i could do without it..

I can't remember the last time I watched American Chopper. The only way I know what's going on is through commercials & threads like this. Sad that you just can't get away from it.
The money these guys have made from being *****s is a sad commentary on our society. Someone is watching this crap, or else it would not be on anymore.

I couldn't agree more. There used to be some decent reality TV with shows like that, also could bring back Junk Yard Wars (loved that show) and a few shows like that where it was about them building stuff from junk, seeing if they worked as designed, and not about the f'n drama. I don't get how some of these shows are still on, with all the stupid crap that happens on them, or who the people are who still watch this crap... well really any reality TV these days, there's no reality when everything is preplanned and scripted not sure why the general public doesnt see that.

I never cared for or had much respect for JJ as a person ........ until ..... the episode of Monster Garage where he was doing a build and demanded a second seat in it, turns out it was for a little boy who was dying of cancer and loved the show. He was doing the seat so the boy could be on the show and ride in the build but he died before the build was done. Jessie actually cried while explaining the reason for the extra seat. I found some humanity in him at least for a second.

Would love to have his talent and the opportunities afforded him in his life that he squandered.

I have worked with "Big Shwagg" (Monster Garage announcer and host of the drag racing game show )several times and he said Jessie was always a ****, showing up late for shoots or not showing up at all, arguing with producers telling them how he "Made Discovery Channel" he said the show ran it's course long before it ended.

I do!! Much better than judge shows, or dancing with somebody, takes my mind off some of my every day problems for a little while!! I think thats what there for!!

Hate to say it but Jesse's bike looked like a cookie cutter bike,nothing special,I built every piece on this bike with my own 2 hands.That is bull. His stupid attitude cost him any chance of winning. All 3 bikes were jokes but thats T.V. May Jesse and his new old lady can do a tatoo take-off reality show.T.V just sucks and has been for a long time. To bad senior listens to the computer idiot he has working for him.Maybe they thought the show was in Alaska. And Junior's idea,the exhaust running under the gas tank. They all three coudn't compete with real bike builders.

Cable TV was supposed to be "commercial free"? Remember when they added just a few commercials....then they realized they could charge us and charge the production companies and make a killing....hundreads of channels and squat to watch....then they time it so all the commercial on nearly every channel run at exactly the same time so you can't even switch channels to something else.....What a Crock!! Reference Jr. Sr. and JJ......they all got too big for their britches....just like everyone else that seems to get their own show....JJ's bike was the most practical.....he's an errogant pompis A$$....Sr.'s was an ATV and Jr.'s was a lot of flash and not much more.....not worth watching..but I did just for some comic releif.... JMHO..

Haha, I remember the "me time" I had to spend with my last GF. Never watched so many House and Garden shows or Design on a Dime shows in my life !!!!!!!! The whole time I was sitting there holding her hand I was daydreaming about getting out into the garage.

That's why I now like my cats, they don't give a d*** how long I spend at the shop just so their dishes are full.

I think the saying goes - 'absolute power corrupts absolutely'. Sooner or later being paid for having people follow you around with cameras will go to almost anyones head, people start thinking they are actors, with yes men keeping egos puffed up to line their pockets too. Easy for average Joe's to get caught up in this fantasy and there's no shortage of people to tune into it. (I'm guilty too)
I try to glean some knowledge to apply to rod building from these shows, though it's always more about the human drama (and ever fascinating B.S.), I have to admit that if it has wheels, engines or mechanical whatever, I can't help watching this stuff - just keep the B.S. filter turned up on high....
