Darn & I thought it was hot in Indiana!

Thanks for the pics.

Way back in the 60's my folks drove us to the left coast & stopped by the dam. They were taking pics & my brothers & I got away from them & were in a place where we shouldn't have been. Little boys thought it was pretty cool along the edge!

In 1980 when we were moving back to Pa from California we drove over the dam and parked at that little pull over on the right side of it. Our dog jumped down out of the U Haul truck and immediately jumped right back in, the pavement had to be 150 degrees ! The temps were about 117 that day. Sure is pretty country though.

But it's a "dry" heat...Every time I hear that, I tell the person that your oven is a dry heat too...go crank it up to about 120 and stick your head in for a few hours[ddd

Honeymooned with my 1st wife in Vegas in '91.The "dam tour" was memorable. We went in March and it wound up being unusually cool temperature.

Went there in `98, with wife #2..Despite her, I still had a good time..thanks for the pics, especially the skirts:D:D

Vegas is such a cool place to visit. I had to work out there for 10 days about 2 years ago. I couldn't live there, too many weirdos. Yeah, I know Florida is no mensa convention either

I'm here for work this week. Good thing I'm inside! :p I sure feel sorry for the people that work outside in the summer here. I wouldn't survive.

Having work pay for the get away is the best way[cl Got to Hawaii and the caribbean that way a few years back
