Well Smallfoot, the floor is gone. but not using it anyway. Willow I was referring to the style of truck, I thought the short or stock wb was a rudy, not trying to copy anyone.. my bad... I have cut the bottom 6" off the cab to get the door from being so tall. Don't think we are going to cut the roof, we have moved the wheels/wheelbase around (long-short-way out -way in) we have been moving it then let it sit for a week or so. This is the way it keeps coming back to,,

Looking good Tobby! I can see you decided for some head room heheh! Ah, floors, they mostly get discarded or replaced anyway with mods to make em lower and fitting motors and trannys. That's gonna be sweet...

To get the wheelbase and width we want, we cut 8" out of the front axle,,,

this week we started on the frame,,and you can see where the body is cut 6" from the bottom up to the door hinges,,

We are doing the frame different from the past ones,, you can see the tubing is not mitered at the joints, to fit with no void. It is cut at the angle and will need a plate to fill the void. some say this is stronger ???

Haven't got much done,,I just have a hard time with the cold weather ,,(cold for Florida) Smallfoot, my original car is in Pennsylvania,, this foxbody I built for my wife to race in stock eliminator 15 years ago,,she raced it for 3 years,, Tj drug it out 2 years ago, so we put it back together. but yes it looks identical,, Worked on the frame this weekend..

Looking real good!! I narrowed the axle on my rpu. Lots of people shook their heads but it worked just like I planned. Are the trailer fenders part of the build?
