Great pics.

I live just two hours away from Knoxville Raceway. I love going to the Hall of fame and looking at the great old cars. I went to the classic night for several years. Their are some incredible inovations that came from that class of racing. A good freind of mine just down the road is the son of the famous Jimmie Davies midget driver from the 50s who won the USAC championship and passed in a crash the next season. Great stuff 22.

Your welcome, Bob.
Those are beautiful cars you have pictured, are you the lucky owner ?
Thanks for sharing those and good luck on the information search. '22

22 Dodge,by lucky owner do you really mean "wealthy owner"? No,they are not mine. They belong to Fountainhead Hotels' Collection. I'm trying to help get some more information together for the history of each car.

Hey Bob, after checking through my books, I found a few vague lines on
Bob Swanson, a photo of him sitting in the Harry Stephens Offy (#15) in 1940
a few weeks before his death at Ohio Speedway, and the cigarette add below.
Nothing on Ed Davis.... '22

These aren't midgets, but close enough to it. I'm thinking of making one of the dwarf trucks to drive on the road, they look awesome! Maybe even downsize Rat-A-Tow-E! HAHA A miniature miniature wrecker!!. But the GF would probably go crook at me, since there would not be enough room for both of us in it HAHAHA:D
