So I pulled the motor and put in this.

350 .30 over, 305 heads w/the big valves,solid 5.60 lift cam.The race car would lift the left front tire off the ground around the corners on flat tracks.

The race cars alright but I love the truck! Ive always liked the GM trucks of that era.

got a friend in your same position, just changed the car "for the new rules" spent the money, can not get a sponsor. Beautiful car not a scratch but he cann't afford to race with out a sponsor, He finished 2nd last year in standings so he is a good racer.

When I got the truck I planned on using it as a tow rig for the race car but now theres no need for that anymore.By the time im done with it I will need another truck to use as a tow rig too tow the truck to the race track.
