I can't believe how much old tin is around. Today a guy who knows I am into old cars comes and asks if I can come with him for a ride, he wants to show mw something. He was helping someone do a neightbors chores and in the guys yard is a 28-29 Ford tudor complete, a 36 Chevy coupe old hotrod with kind of a dirt track front and a Y block with econoline front axle and Dodge artillery wheels, a 69 Charger totally complete, a 40ish International truck that looked real nice, still in use I think. Well there were lots of cool things like an 70 Oliver and a T5 crawler. I guess the owner is gone to Italy or something but I will for sure be paying him a visit.

i can't believe you don't have pictures!! i just hate to hear this kind of stuff without pictures!! you should be ashamed or flogged. i am not sure which!:D:D:D

Those kinds of things don't happen where I live. No old tin to be found anywhere. The oldest thing you might find sitting around is an 87 Olds Cutlass.

Uhm, you guys don't know what a Model A tudor looks like? Or a 69 Charger?

I'll bet when you were in school that you liked reading better than looking at pictures. We like looking at pictures the best. HB

I wasn't expecting to need a camera when I went and probably wouldn't have went back to the house after it.
Interesting story on the Charger. It seems the owner may have been drunk, ran through the fence and got it stuck in the field. The owner of the property fixed the fence and wouldn't let the guy have his car back. I guess it sat in that field for quite a spell before they pulled it into the yard. I think it has 76 plates on it.
Tomorrow I am going to a ranch and look at all the old cars they threw in the dams for erosion control. This one you may not want to see pictures of. He said it was like an Al Capopne movie when they had them all lined up ready to go to their final fate. I am hoping maybe some good parts might remain. I just talked to a kid a couple weeks ago that found a 32 3 window that the water wasn't up to the glove box door. Could I be so lucky?
I will also get otut to the guy who gave me the 56 Merc, he has a bunch of cars, not sure what. That guy has property and connections on the reservation and that is a great place for old cars to lurk.
