New brake calipers installed, sitting in the shop I can hit the brakes and release them and calipers actually release now. That's a good thing. I messed with a carburetor for a good couple hours yesterday and I cannot get the truck to run any better. It seems to be dumping extra fuel down inside of it. So I ordered a reman carburetor for it. At this point I'm thinking time is money and I can keep messing with this one or just replace it. The carburetor actually wasn't that expensive. I also took an hour or so this morning and polish up the driver side of the truck. Looking pretty good

Had a late night in the shop. Started out finishing a customer project. Ended 4 hours later working on joe dirt!

Started with finishing interior cleaning round 1. A good vacuum and some deep scrupping on all interior pieces.

After that I moved back to the exterior and finished first round of cutting and buffing on the passanger side. Look in good!!

Then I caught a 3rd wind and tore the front fender apart to fix the body damage created by the previous owner!!

That polished out nice!

I just used this stuff on my 46, it seems to have done a good job.

Ive seen that a few times. Youblike how it worked?? Ill have too try it out!

I just tried it last weekend. So far I like it, I'll post up some pics here in the next few days. I haven't done the whole truck so I can take some photos when I finish it up so you can see the difference.

On mine, the bare metal areas went from chalky brown to a rich brown colour with a satin sheen.

Dont tell my wife its in the counter!!

Nice work on that fender LB 👍

Thanks! Not bad for a bottle jack and a harbor freight hammer and dolly set Hahahaah

Well the new carb runs better, when it gets fuel. In have a new fuel pump and ill check the inlet lines again. But its running out of fuel when you try and drive it.

Also it seems to have stopped circulating water. It was the other day. I pulled the t stat and it was nasty. So I flushed the radiator and the block. Ill flush the heater core along with replace the pump and t stat tomorrow.

It runs and sounds so good, I wana drive it!!!
