Well got the welds are grinded down today. Just a little more to do and I should be ready to start the bodywork.

Here's some of the bracing that I will be added to the roof.

Got more done its getting closer.

Made relief cuts in the B pillar to get the jamb and cab lined up.

Welded it up and grinding it down.

Inside jamb done

And the outside done just needs some finishing touches.

Nope just welded the gaps up slowly building it from the inside outward. Going to add bracing to the inner parts of the cab once it's all put together.

I know it's been awhile since I posted any updates. Been real busy with work and other projects. But here some updated pics of the build.

Here's the motor I got for free along with a turbo 350 for free as well.

Frame on my make shift frame table.

Here's the front in place just need to weld on the bat wings. Goin to order my radius rods and front brakes later this week.

Just read the whole thread , nice job on everything . Did you finish the cab yet , you mentioned body work ? or are you going the rustic route ?

Thanks for good comments, I was goin to clean up the areas that were welded. But I'm liking it more and more the way it is. Here's how the cab sits now.

I cut the center of the roof out because it was damaged. I like how it looks with it cut out, thinking about building a frame for the opening and making a metal filler panel that can be locked into place or removed on nice days.

I cut the tops of the doors and I'm goin to cap them off with round pipe.
