It's just a matter of finding something you think you can't live with out. It always seems like it's a long way from home tho.

Had a coupe when I was 17yrs. old, had a lot of dreams about all I wanted to do with it. Uncle Sam give me a call to duty. Parked 50 coupe for 2 yrs came home to find it used for target practice. I was sick over its condition so I moved on to 55 Chevy. Always wanted to build fat fender coupe. 43 yrs later here it is.

I loved those photos of the ride home, reminds me of my youth watching all the local stock car guys towing with open trailers to the oval track their racecars..all it (your 50 coupe) needs is some numbers on the doors and a big front bumper for some pushing...

Always liked those coupes, my Grand Pop always had them, he was a carpenter, he liked Desoto's, and when he had an fender bender my Uncle would make a stock car out of it, he had quite a few as I remember, sure wish I had got my hands on one!
