I try to reframe for posting the mundane stuff not related to car, but things are picking up now that more of my work is getting out. Maybe some day GJunktionMike will be followed up by Custom Rust-O-Ration (I just have to hang in here and keep looking forward).

My work is far from prefect but I try to do my best. Like I have said in other threads I’m no professional (yet), but I refuse to let crap out the door.

Plugged some dash holes in a 38 chevy pu dash. This one was out of the truck I did the door shave on.

Just the chop 35 to 40 hours. The slow part was the interior trim peices and hammering out the caved in roof before I started the chop. There is 20 hours of other work like the patch panels on the cowl, broken welds, cracks stuff like that.

Not a side job or a project.

So I have this cab that has been on CL for 4 months for $75. I have had my share of tire kickers but no takers. Other then the rust in the floor and fire wall it is a good cab. I know a guy that is looking for a chopped cab but he doesn't belive I can do a chop on the cab and make it look good [S Either way this works out I will sell to him or have it to sell. So I drug it in and spent about 5 hours on it today. doing the 6" chop, lots of leg room so It won't be cramped for room.

DR thats the plan one way or the other

Used the hi-tec bead former and made some fillers. Went to cutting it into 7 peices. Drilled the welds out in the upper front window to split the headframe from the roof tin. Clamped it up to see if things are going to line up. I'm thinking this is going to work out well.

Worked a little on the window head frame, doing it now so it is not over head. forgot pics of it done [S mod some tips for a guy, he wanted then longer with more flare. Them things are a little harder to do then they look.

I like the chop, only thing I see is that the sunroof is kind of narrow? =)

Little work done. Just welded and cleaned up. No hammer work yet, I'll do that after evey thing is welded.
