Met a guy here in town who has what was once a 5 window coupe rat rod. The roof had been cut off of it when he got it and he added a front windshield. It has a balanced and blueprinted Chrysler engine in it and is drivable. He wants $4500 for it. It has a quick release sprint car steering wheel, disc brakes on the front, doors are welded shut, but without the roof, it sits low enough to step into. The seats are being put into their right position and it has a stout rear end set-up in it, new radiator. As I understand the engine, it has a roller cam set-up and runs like a raped ape. He is wanting to sell it to buy another five window coupe to match the other one he has. He said the engine alone has over $8500 in it and believe me, it is scary fast.
