Hey guys,

This was posted on a Chevy truck forum I frequent, with a lot of negativity as it's ratty and not original. I think it's pretty awesome, and it's definitely well built! It may not be everyone's taste, but it's definitely a quality build.

What is there about this to not like ? The bolt on zip code guys have a hard time with anything out side the lines .

Build their cars/trucks by bolting on their mail order parts.

I definitely like it, except the spittoon needs to go. I like the idea, just not on this truck. It would look better with something more racing inspired.

Actually they're wrong calling it a 3100, but it could be a 47. At the start of the 47 model year GM sold leftover 46's as 47's.

Actually the guys I was referring to in my original post are restoration guys, someone posted it on a more restoration centered Chevy truck forum and it was not appreciated too much.

05snopro , that would be a cool ride like it is but if its a 47 that would make it that much more rare and cooler if thats a word

A lot of work on that exhaust, but I would have run it along the bottom of the cab and lost the running boards. Not a place for a spittoon.....
