trying to nail down the kid about when he can go..
I'd like to get there on Sat but the kid may have to work on Sat....I'll let you know by Thursday.... was bummed about the car, thought I'd finally have something to do that wasn't "late model"....
Rainman.... I actually have a very "strange"....(not too unusal for me) gasser project kinda just sitting....but...don't shoot me...it's an 82 Camaro... the front end got hit, I cut it off and have it back halfed and waiting to fab up the front to rear frame rails....I've been holding off even mentioning it cause it's to odd and I wasn't totally sure what I was going to do..lol.... all the roll bars and such are tacked in....
Sounds like you made lemonade out of lemons, good for you, sorry about the car, I'm sure something will come along. I'm looking forward to Mt Clemens swap meet, you never know, you might find something there.

Its this coming weekend....Jan 7 and 8
Trying to work out going on Sat..but the kid may have to work, so it might be Sunday that we can go....(not that I couldn't go twice I guess...lol) but they pop you for a 10 dollar entrance fee for the two days....not that large you need two days to look it over....10 bucks seems steep but we all pay it...lol I won't know until thursday am if he has to work.....[P

Well it's old, it's a buick and buicks were built in flint so sounds good...price sounds fair.... I've been trying to get onto the site with another officers laptop but the wifi here is also blocked....I'll have to wait till I get home...I've only been checking the detroit metro craigslist...should have reach out a bit more I guess....Flints only 1 1/2 hours away....Hummmmm...[P

Sarge, I am definitely going on Sat , I have a shopping list. I can keep my eye out for any cool looking gasser possibilities and give you a call if you would like. Save you having to go twice.
I sure hope it's as good as it used to be at the fairgrounds, we haven't been to it since they moved it to Mt Clemens.

Frankly I think it's gotten a bit smaller....
Not sure if it's because of where they have it or what....Gibralter is huge so only having a part of the building might make it look smaller....good luck with your hunt....I might still go by myself on Sat...then go back with the kid...I'll keep the receipt and get back in on Sun for free......not sure what I'm looking for but when I see it...I'll know....
