OK... Just found this forum so I figured I'd give it a try.

I've been working on old cars since they were new. My current project is a '56 F100 with a blown 354 Hemi... nothin' special just a driver.

I'm also the co-promoter of a certain traditional hot rod show in Wisconsin.

I'm not big into welded spider webs or multiple iron crosses on my cars but if that's what you like go for it. My favorites are early cars with period-correct mods and something other than a SBC or SBF... but that's just me.

i like traditional styles as well, but ya know, some of those "old timers" did use sbc & sbf --but i know what ya mean...

show us a few pics when ya get time...one of my family's old hotrods was a 52 ford truck with a desoto hemi & push button trans...(years ago & long gone)
