A way long time ago when I was a little kid (1940's) my mom would mention that another woman was "pg". That meant she was pregnant. I guess the word pregnant wasn't used in polite company back then. My how times have changed.

Yep, I remember when some Actress went on the Johnny Carson show and they put a shawl over her because they felt her dress was a little too low cut. She sat there through the whole interview all covered up.

Times have changed, but I'm glad to visit this forum that Bob keeps high class and civil. Maybe I'm getting old, but it still shocks me that certain words have become as common in conversation as saying Hello.........especially when they come out of a ladies mouth. Guess I'm a Fossil.

I agree 100% Don. It's not so much that we are getting old, though it's true, it's more like morals and set standards have been thrown out the window now-a-day. Common sense has become a thing of the pass. It's got to the point in the mind of the public: "its going to be my way and I don't care whose toes gets stepped on while I'm getting my way".

It's not only the adults talking like that today, it's also the kids and the parents approve of it and think it's funny. I have personally seen parents laugh at their children cussing in the supermarket, like it's a big joke.

Thank God some of us still have morals and standards and understand what it means.

It's called "clean family entertainment". It's rare these days to see and I've always liked the fact that this site promotes that. It's something we all should be really proud of because the other sites don't care what is said or who sees it.
