price of running 394 olds motor and tranny

Honestly, whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Prices can be all over the map. If somebody is looking for one it might be worth a few hundred bucks, if they don't it's scrap. I turned down one for free about a month ago, but late model Olds engines aren't my thing. Someone else may have gone nuts for it. Supply and demand sets what the market will bear.

Yup that pretty much sums it up, but it does sound like a good setup for somebody that wants something thats different than ur average every day engine and trans setup
