Ive seen the sedan (i think its Don's son???) with the airbags in the rear. I saw that he Z'd the frame a lot in the rear to get it that low. Is Zing the frame a must for that kind of stance? I want to put airbags on all four corners of my sedan but i dont think Ive seen any in all the pics ive seen. I don't want to have a suicide front end if i can avoid it.
this is what i would like to aim for

what would be needed to get to this point with airbags?
thanks in advance for the input,

It all depends on how far you want to lay the car out. Dan wanted to be able to put his fordor flat on the ground when parked so his Z had to be really deep. You figure, his tires were 32 inches tall so the centerline of the axle is 16 inches, plus the thickness of the axle housing and you don't want the frame to touch the axle. I think his rear kickup was something like 22 inches or so.

If you just want air suspension you wouldn't have to Z that far. As for the suicide front end, it is one way to get the car super low without resorting to extremely high spring perches and stuff like that.

Here is how Dan's sat laid out.

Those Gas Monkey guys had a bagged sedan a couple years ago. I'm not sure who built it, they seem a little shadey, it had a rawhide top insert that was baseball stitched and I like that best about the car. If you see it, it has some huge wide white mudder tires on the back.
