Safety is definately key with these older sitting cars, any advice of things I should keep in mind and or look into for my current truck?
Previous owner replaced all brake lines, I'm replacing all brake hardware and shoes and I am also putting a new master cylinder in there.
Never trust the previous owners work would be my advice. Almost always they are either embelishers (nice way of saying liar) or half incompetent. Or they just plain do things different than you would have.
Of course that doesn't apply to any of us as sellers.
I would also have the drums measured to see if they are within the factory service limits. I have got drums back from ASE certified techs who didn't even know there was a limit or that both drums needed to be pretty close to the same size. By "lines" do you mean hoses or the steel hard lines? If he didn't do hoses, you'll want to replace those and also the wheel cylinders.
