I made a panel up and mounted behind my bench seat with a 1000w amp and some big speakers.
Ran a 2xRCA to 3.5mm cord through the seat belt hole so I can plug my phone in if I want music - got about 300 albums saved on my phone.
If I don't want music, it's all good too. Nothing is visible

For long trips I either needed to insulate against road/tyre/wind noise or put music in, the drone noise was killing me. I went for the easier option with the music LOL...

Whatever I end up doing it will have to be hidden. It would look pretty stupid if I put in a CD and modern speakers and you could see them....

just make a flip down cover or something or put it in the glove box...
I dunno, I think it is kind of cool to have the outside all ratty and the inside be nice

My interior is not even close to nice, but it is there....

I probably will mount the thing behind the glove box door. Make like a filler plate to hold it. That would probably be the cleanest thing to do.

Good question.....I have an AM radio in the Swinger, and it's hardly ever on...and like many have said, I couldn't hear it anyway......I have a radio on the bike, but it's rarely on either.....but I probably will put something hidden in the Graham, just for ****s and giggles if nothing else.....like Don said, I would rather have it in there and not use it, then not have it in there and regret it.

here's an audio pipe with Kicker KM6130 Marine speakers, 200watt amp, studded power and ground connections, 3.5mm mp3 jack, double fused, sealed, and rhino lined, all connections double crimped, and di-electric grease was used on all connections as well. there is an inline fuse on the power wire inside the amp, so in the rare case you cross which stud is which (hook positive to negative), the inline fuse will pop instead of the fuse on the side of the amp. with one quick speaker removal the fuse can be replaced with a typical automotive blade type fuse! it measures 25 inches across from outer edge to outer edge of speakers.

Those are pretty cool looking, but with my confined spaces I have no idea where I would put either. I am looking at like a couple 6.5" speakers and a plain head unit....

I've got a factory AM/FM in my Maverick, with a 100 watt amp, but very seldom turn it on. I doubt I'll put anything in the truck, lack of space and doubt I'd be able to hear it anyway.
