I was given an old Thunderbird years ago that I wanted the 9" rear out of. I called a guy that pays for scrap cars and told him he could have the car if he would help me remove the differential. He jacked it up with his tow truck cut everything loose in about 10 minutes. With so many people scrapping cars maybe you can find a similar deal.
