Rat Rod Wagon

Building this for my grandson for his 1st birthday, gotta have it done by the weekend of Jan. 26th (his bday is 26th the party that Sat.) The frame is welded up, need to blast the wagon & tool box, paint them, put in a seat (maybe/maybe not), gonna put some bologna cut pipes on each side & make the handle to pull it with. heres what I have so far.

thanks, My ex asked me not to make it for Christmas cause she bought him one and was afraid he would like mine better lol

Pretty Much Finished

Just got a few things to do, maybe some more painting, fasten the wagon to the frame, fasten the tool box to the wagon & frame, clean it up and it's ready for his birthday party this Saturday. The big addition was the handle, I used some motorcycle rods for the hinge and base connection connected to the pipe that has the gas pump nozzle for the handle

Funny you said that, I was thinking of doing the next one bagged & hide a little compressor & battery in the tool box. Ground clearance on this one is 1 1/4"

youre both super lucky to have one another --
i doubt he will ever hold a gift as near to his heart
as this wagon --- he may play with other things
more but that will ALWAYS be his wagon -- well
until it becomes his kid's wagon
