Roadside Rust

Took the train to Michigan. Found some interesting stuff. This stuff is not on any main roads, I would imagine you can only see this from the train.

I guess if you used a GPS you could mark locations. Some are outside of small towns.

Great pics! We all know the stuff is still out there, just finding it and then actually finding out the owner and then actually getting it is the problem! Sadly, most of those will continue to rust away or will be hauled off by the scrappers.

I have traveled all over the United States for the last 7 years and I am amazed at all of the fields of vehicles like this that I see. You would think with all of these just laying around that people would be giving them away. [S

I'd hate to start digging through 40 years worth of magazines but I think I've seen that car somewhere Could just be a clone but I know I've seen that year Cuda with that paint scheme. [S

Paint it flat black with red wheels, hang a bunch of saw blades, cobwebs and skulls all over it, fly it to Reno or Oshkosh and park it with all the shiney restored planes to tick them off, maybe stick a time out doll or two in the air intake

Like the fishing trip a bunch got away. I missed a several piles for one reason or another, blinking, night time and who knows what was on the other side of the train. Guess I have to book another trip.
