I followed RT66 from OK City until we headed up to Las Vegas. I wouldn't do it again.

I was made to make that trip in 53 and about 10 more after, some of it still looks the same. Now I just do it in pieces.

I've read where some did it and enjoyed it. I can't see it myself. Much of it is
just interstate now anyway.

I think the biggest idea of rt66 is not being on the interstate. Backroads are where all the cool stuff is. I'd probably like the Lincoln Highway better.

I used to live on part of the Lincoln Highway in Jeanette Pa. Never knew it was a historical site until recently when I watched a PBS show on it.

Rt 66 is on my bucket list. I plan on working maybe two more years then setting off for a 48 State trip in my 46.
