Photos..Now we are using the white appliance metal which is also 18 gauge. I will try to fit the pieces behind and below the rear window as they are curved. The sabre saw worked of with a metal blade, just have to keep the steel from moving.

More photos of my tube bending right on the car.. no going back and forth to measure and trial fit. one shot and weld.

Note# these plywood forms are double 1/2 inch thick plywood forms screwed together. To accommodate a 1inch square tube.

The coil springs are new and from a Mekur rear, they are progressive rated springs and of course they were free from my Brother in law... that makes it nicer yet

Photos . Ill try another photo to see if it will post, hmm i tried to post 3 photos must be too big I dont know how to shrink these photos. I cant find the thing that resizes the photos.

photos Guess they have to be new photos// hmm anyway the photos are modifying the Gas tank are. The trunk lid would have been too close to the tank.dropped the straps and supports 3.5 inches. Now the tank fits the hole nice and does not look bad from the rear. More room for a spare tire and tool box that is planed later.. ill finish it up when I get some more metal.. We are now current with what I am doing on this Rod. unless I find some older photos I mislaid.

Waiting for MIG Wire I ordered. I guess priority mail is not what it used to be its been 4 days. They must have had another UNION meeting instead of watching my package. No wire no work done.

Went on ebay the other day...

Waiting for MIG Wire I ordered. I guess priority mail is not what it used to be its been 4 days. They must have had another UNION meeting instead of watching my package. No wire no work done.

Company selling 10# rolls of ER70S-6 mig wire 2 rolls for 36 bucks... .023, 30, 35 flux core and a lot of other wires at around the same prices...around here its about 38 bucks a roll...says its precision wound and good quality..anybody use this stuff, can't get ebay on here so can't give the name of the ebay store....always afraid of using no name brand wires....

Thats probably where I bought them from 36 bucks with free shipping they cost 29 dollars per 10lb roll locally here. I guess the wait will give me reminisce time. hehehe like I need it at my age, Most wire is okay I used to gas weld steel with coat hanger metal and I done a lot of car fenders etc in the early 60's
