When I wrench on my cars I've always loved to just use my old wrenches & socket drives. Guess I've always liked to bust my knuckles & spill a lil of the red stuff in my work. So I'm do'n a lil maintenance on me '41 PU & out of the blue decided to use some of the air guns the old man left me! Loved it & ummmm... no blood spilled! Ok... I'm hooked now! Only took 67 yrs![S

Same Here

I've been known to break a few things on assembly with air tools so i moved to a batt. pwr. impact driver, light weight and small them come back and tighten by hand. [cl

Also I've always been a slow learner [S

I've got all that, a whole drawer full of Max and Snap-on impacts in every suze, drive and wobblys. They are great but I still head for a good old combination wrench for small tasks.

Impacts

l got into the air/electric impact power tools long ago when racing, saves time and wear & tear on your'e body, and now that l am older l appreciate this a whole lot more and use them every time l can.

Later:cool:

Yeah... I really plan on using air power to remove stuff but I'll probably use your lead & go battery powered to reinstall! :D

I've got all the air tools. Sometimes I remember to use them. When I was wrenching for a living, I used them all the time. Now, it depends on the job. For little stuff, I reach for whatever is closest.

I'm a power tool freak.
No matter whether it's a screw or bolt, out comes the power tools.
The small 1/4" hex drive electric stuff is the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use air or electric whenever possible or.....

if it's just a quick job when hand tools are all you need....years of turning wrenches for a living and working on flat rate kind of sets the stage for the use of air tools....I've got some air tools that I've had for 40 years....work without fail....The new battery stuff is really nice ....kids been grabbing me some good deals on a few lately.....think he's figuring they'll be his some day anyway...LOL
