Several NG's get vaporized posting "For Sale" items on their 1st post!

I don't know what the story is but as you know... there are multiple warnings about posting items for sale on the forum. Recently several people have posted an item or car for sale on their very 1st post & then wrote back whining about getting deleted for it! They always say I'm denying our members the right to buy the really kool stuff they're selling... good try... no cigar! I don't want to vaporize anyone by jezzzz... can these people read... or do they just think the forum isn't moderated!?! Sorry for my rant but paaaaleeeeeze!!!

Thanks for keeping it clean, Bob. Another forum I am on recently made some changes and now there are "vendors" who started coming on and running one ad per item they sell..........they were clogging up the home page with more ads than useful threads. I complained, as did some others, and now they are not doing it.

The thing that gets me the most is they're really belligerent when they write back! Some are adamant I reinstate them immediately & the last guy threatened to sue me for defamation! My Grandkids have better sense!!!

yep, people can be really, really stupid.....i think this lack-luster economy has brought a lot of sellers to market looking for anywhere or everywhere that they could possibly make a sale......

Defamation? Good luck with that. What a bonehead. I have to agree with most here, I like this site a lot because it's run with dignity & respect. No tough guy keyboarders trying to swing their e-wang around. Thanks for the awesome site.
