Came across my headlight buckets upon seeing the floor in the barn again... Cleaning came to a stop for a few in order to try something I've been kicking around in my head. Both sides of my buckets had the parking lens busted and I've been trying to fit something in there that I could make work for a lens. Found a use for some large pill bottles:

I can get glass replacements for less than 15 apiece. But have been thinking about trying the pill bottles. I'm changing these out to turn signals instead of just parking lights. Pop a couple of T10 sockets and a couple of LED bulbs and good to go for no heat under these plastic pieces. The side walls on these bottles were pretty close to the same size as the opening. I clamped the pieces into place and heated the plastic up with a torch to let the plastic form fit itself. Probably a few dabs of silicone will hold them in place.
