I think the worst is over, it has rained lots and lots more in the forecast, good for th fires but not helping the basement project.

Well we went from tinder dry wild fires every where to over 6 inches of rain and now the town of Edson is under a state of emergency due to flooding. Our basement excavation has turned to a mud slide and collapsed bring everything to a halt.

Oh no! The flooding is all over the news, hopefully the rain subsided now. We've been getting more manageable rain, but it has rained every day since last Tuesday. We've got a lot, but not 6 inches.

We need rain. Grass dead, weeds thriving.

We have been getting big downpours. I had lots of dandelions and not much else. It pours and we get some puddling, but about 10 minutes later the puddles are gone. We planted 21 young trees two days before all this rain started and the holes were extremely dry. Hopefully they don't get waterlogged.
