There's a guy I've ran into at car shows that has a huge 30's Caddy or Packard or something, he has a couple of real looking Tommy guns in the back seat, as well as some pistols and knives. Probably all plastic, but give it that real touch.

This guy lives in my gun safe most the time. It is also a replica, still shoots at 45. Cool Conversation Piece. Actually just scored an old guitar case to put it in! Don't think I would ever leave it unattended in the trunk with it open but still cool nonetheless. Maybe some photo opportunities

Parts lookgood [cl

Hahaha, she wasnt home

Well just a perfect way to end the night changing the worst water pump I've ever done. There's a 11 bolts that hold that water pump on the front of that motor. Top it off there is a now in the top of it that has to fit into the thermostat housing. So every time I try to put it on there I put the gasket off the back. 45 minutes of fighting it I finally got it on after loosening up the thermostat housing so that can leak now. Then to top it all off as I was checking all my bolts because I had one extra one for some reason I snapped off a 1/4 20 bolt off one handed with a standard 3/8 ratchet. Perfect. So I'm going to bed. I guess I will pull the whole water pump off drag the radiator out of it and hopefully the way it broke I can reach in there and grab it and turn it out. It's one of the longer bolts on the bottom of the water pump. Cross our fingers

Replacing the water pump on my 455 Buick right after we got it running yielded similar results. About 4 of the many bolts holding it onto the aluminum front house of the engine broke off. We had to drill them. Steel bolts in aluminum. We had to pull the radiator as well, it was a very aggravating process.

Did a 302 Ford several years ago, didn't break a bolt, but twisted one almost in two. It had rusted away so much only a small section was left in the middle. Replaced it with an all thread stud and nut.......and anti seize on all bolts going back in!

I win!!

Was able to weld a nut on it and it came out on the second attempt!!

New water pump dine, fuel tank drained and cleaned, new fuel filter and new spark plugs. All done!!

Took the ol man out for a cruise. Heater blows hot and the car drives good!! Has a little vibration at 65, but the drive line has a dent in it. So thats probably most of it.

More miles in the day light!!
