Wow, I'm member number 164. I didn't realize that it was such a new site when I joined up.

If you are curious what number you are pass the mouse pointer over your name and see what number pops up at the bottom of the screen (example Z.Z.RAT is 6366)

Yea, that's a good one Tripper. I really like RRR because of the way people act here. There is something to be said for manners and it seems to be a dying trait, especially on the internet. I like to be able to sign on and read threads without a a bunch of negative bashing, bickering, f-bombs, and name calling. I'm also fairly confident that I won't ever have to look at another man's naked rear on here. Does any of the dirty dozen remember that one? [S

That was the guy from Utah?? A-hole Garage, if I remember correctly.

The car culture is broad, deep, rich, and full of humanity. It has a fascinating past, an astounding present and an astonishing future. It's unusual to find a group of people that get together and celebrate the whole thing in one car. The RRR style of ratting allows us to taste the whole culture in a mature, respectfull, decent atmosphere.

It's interesting what motivated the founders to form the place.

Good stuff.

I know I've been here for a while, and found my way here after seeing a thread on the porker about safety with a link to a thread here, and if I remember correctly, it was Dons Rods that had a trailing arm break and got his attention in traffic (with out any personal damage). If I remember wrong and it wasn't Don...my apology to him, and just blame it on my old age. Either way, since finding this home on the net, I've not had much use for the other places, except to check out their classifieds sections once in a while.

Thanks Tripper (or that other guy who forced your hand) for staring this site....Glad you let me hang around this long...even if I am only member 728 :D

I just got here, but I am really stoked to have discovered the place. Great people, attitudes, cars, advice, ideas. Thumper's mom would be proud of us. I never thought there would be so many ways to make a '38 Ford pick-up look good. Really, I didn't know that there were so many left. I have about 1.5 of them, and Intend to make two projects out of the pile. When ever I make "member" status, I'll be posting pictures of my build. Thanks for sharing!
