Well I don't have a clue what that thing is attached to the cowl, but that is a very clean start you have there. I would love to find tin in that good of condition up here in Ontario. What are you plans for this build?

Nice looking cab! Not sure what that bracket is for sure. I remember my dad's 36 International had a bracket on the bed for the old road flares (like little smudge pots). Could be something like that?

Thanks. Well so far I have decided not to chop it I really like the cab the way it is. Still debating on a bed or not. But I am going to get this as low as I can get it. I would also like to power it with a strait 6 then a flat green for the cab and grill and run it.

OK here are some updates. Got a motor and a dash. Lots of stuff still needed also found a color I am going to use.
The MOTOR.....chevy 250 inline 6?

Yep, it's a 250, according to my Leo Santucci book. I like mine a lot. Good torque. Nice color choice too.

You've got a very solid body there to start with. Looking forward to seeing the progress. There were times I thought of leaving my '39 unchopped, it actually looked cool that way, but we wanted to cut something up.:D:D

Keep us posted as you go along.
