My wife rolled her eyes when I said I was going to hang on to our broken toaster. What? I might need it for something.... it's chrome! Then she just sighed and walked away... :D

Maybe a heater box....hmmm...

Makes sense to me, but then I think I might have been a crow in a previous life, I'm attracted to shiny things.

If you are going to build ratrods it is good to have an assortment of interesting metal shapes on hand....(junkpile)

the motto that was used around home when i was a kid .....

keep it for 7 yrs-if ya don't find a use for it by then, chunk it:D

if ya make a heater box from it, i wanna see it--the 46 gets really cool(not in a good way) in the winter months

Dude... my wife is on a constant quest to find things to throw away! She'll come in holding something & ask... "Trash or Treasure". She was real bad for a while until i started throwing some of her stuff away. That kooled her jets for a while! :D:D:D

BoB

if I have any more then one project or car, my wife calls me a packrat or hoarder. I have hardly anything sitting around here. Guy that i bought my transmission from has a farm and junks and builds cars, he has stuff everywhere. pile of 9" rear ends in the woods, barns full of parts, old school bus(pink) full of trannys and parts, it was like paradise. Of course his wife left him ,but hell who cares when you got all that stuff, right!!!!

trash? trash!!! nooooooooooooo

same thing around here. constantly having to rescue my stash of stuff.

my heater that l made my rat lamp out of l had pull outta the scrap pile 3 times. later

yeah where i used to live i got the city called on my for my "trash" on the side of my garage.

i only had 4 cars a parted out and a pile of parts bigger than the garage itself in the back yard. i saved what i could and scrapped the rest. better then a big fine.

still ****ed..... alot of good bits and pieces in there i could have used.

thats why i moved out of the city.

If its one of those old chrome ones, it would make a decent tissue dispenser like you could get back in the 60s.......real handy when you need to fix your makeup......lady......[cl:D

Sam_fear the last things i picked up was 5 ,100 pounds popane tanks i built one into a sand blaster the others are extra air suppy for it,dont worry i know saftey frist.:D......i love shoppin at the dump i just make sure the wife is at work.

Dump diver deluxe here. I cruise their iron pile regularly. That's where I got the dozer blade for my garden tractor and also scored a trashed riding mower that had a good running 12 horse briggs engine. With spring coming I will check in regularly. You wouldn't believe how many of those cheap Mal-Wart shifter bikes are in the pile.
