Boy you guys have some nice garages. Mine looks like three swap meet spaces stacked on top of each other. With a path in the middle. I'm out of control I need to quit buying parts for a while.

as we speak theres an 120x80' garage going up on our "land"
-technically its my father in law's land but its the family ranch
hes got quite a collection of cars -- my garage is usually outside in the grass : /
but at my new house there are plans for a little 10x10 or so -- havent decided the exact size but itll keep the rain off at least.

^^ Snakefarm, are you using that grill shell as a stereo stand? I like the wall art for sure.

I'd show pictures of mine, but ain't much to see in a 14'x22' single car attached.

Yeah Pete, I found that old shell in the woods along with a few remnants of an old truck that had wood spoke wheels......not sure what it was, maybe an IH but not sure:confused: It is rusted so thin that the yellow paint I put on it is probably thicker than it is:D I had the lights, the tire, and the Cali plate and made the rest out of wood. I used to have the lights wired up on a model train transformer but it burned up and I never replaced it.

snakefarm is that a diamond t cab.

No, that's my Willys . The whole thing.....minus the bed.......is buried in there somewhere :eek: but I've been digging it out (see my build thread "Secret Willys Revival")

Wellll...... If you want to rid yourself of some of those knick knacks then just send them to me! my shop is very bare!:D

My garage was actually pretty bare back when that pic was taken:eek::eek:....the "knick knack" collection just keeps on growing......you can barely see the walls or the ceiling for that matter:D I know it's not for everyone but I like collecting stuff, especially memorabilia from my hometown........even snagged a sign off City Hall one time when they were remodeling[ddd
...do ya see it?

TerrysGarage005.jpg

Terry & Lee are good friends and are on RRR with the name "Tator". I grabbed some photos of their shop today. In the corner is a Pullmax machine, TIG welder, shear, brake, and a lift, among other items.

At the other end is their 37 1/2 Chevy truck and "Tator", a shortened Studebaker that runs low 10's and is driven on the street.

Garage

I have a shop that is 22x60 . I purchase a ranch house in a town with no zoning. I have one garage door that goes straight in. I can get three full size pickup in it and a work space along side them. the builder of the house made a shower as a base for the front steps of the house which was a great idea. I have my compressor on a slab by the entance door under the deck which also has two steel shelf units. I converted all the plugs to four plug boxes. I have 22 8 foot light strips. I have painted the entire inside of the shop with four coats of thoroseal cement paint. I collect the flat screen T.V. boxes that i place on the floor of whatever i am working on to keep the place as clean as possible. I plan on building a larger building somewhere else on the property in the near future
