Slow going lately. I got in a funk and don't seem to be able to stick with the body mounts for some reason.

Took a little break and rebuilt one of the used front upper control arms. For some reason you can't buy new upper control arms for a '95 vintage Dakota. I had to get used ones from a wrecking yard.
Part of the 3" lift I'm taking off was longer control arms so I needed stock ones to replace them.

I can certainly relate to the **** days lately.
I think it's the closed up shop that gets to me and my claustrophobia.
It's going to be 65 degrees here today. I'm going to throw open all the doors and knock this phase out today.

I haven't been on here much for the last year as I was ignoring my build.
This thing looks like a cool @ss custom truck, the way it was. Now with modern drivetrain, it will be plain awesome.

Finally got the cab mounts finished up. I figured since I plan on cutting the side wall out to add a third door I should put 8 cab mounts under it. Might be over kill but I don't want any sagging going on.

I layed out the cut lines for the opening. This ought to be fun.
