i have a question about windshields? are the ford truck and car windshields from 1938-40 the same? i need one for a '40 tudor sedan and can get one from a'39 truck. thanks

He carrys all the old Ford parts, made exactly to factory specs from the old molds. Worth a look.

1940 Ford cars an 1/2 ton trucks had fixed windshields and are the same.

1937-39 cars and trucks had swing out windshields and will not fit 1940 Fords.

thanks guys that info helped alot. i found a '40 cab with glass dont know if its 1/2 ton or not will have to check

The 40 ford 3/4 and larger trucks have a higher roof line and I am not sure if the windshield is the same as the 1/2 ton . Make a cardboard pattern and take it along.

I can cut you a brand new piece of glass for that, using the factory patterns I have, delivered for about 100 bucks.....PM for more info!
