Worth a second look!

If you have the chance to pick up an old postal jeep, give it a second thought. After all they are a Jeep and they are built fairly well. My wife bought one (1976 DJ-5D) at a garage sale and gave it to our 3 teenage boys. After they drove it into the ground, it sat in the back yard for years. Fresh out of things to build, I tore it down and built a topless cruiser with a bikini top. However I never liked the short wheel base so I cut it in half and stretched it another 18inches. I gave it a Military style look. It has since become one of my favorite vehicles to drive.
