I'm going to a car show at a really cool place tomorrow. It's about a 1.5 hour drive to the show and of course I'll be taking a camera. I need to get a spare battery tonight if I can find one. The one in my camera doesn't last very long and I want to get plenty of photos to share.

Hope you get lucky Eman! Got to build a deck for a customer today. My son who is helping me, cut his hand Thursday, to the point he should have gotten stitches, but he didn't! I was playing football yesterday with my youngest and jammed my little finger during a bad catch...hurts like you know what....this should be an interesting day!...cr

Today was Murphy's law! Anything that could go wrong.....DID!!! Hardly got anything done....no pics for sure....probably would have been blinded by the flash!!..cr

10 hrs of DT's (defensive tactics) on sat. spent sunday medicating myself and burnin brush piles before the snow is all gone. Now on mon morning I feel like I was run over by a truck..........

i have some goals for the day...

*start on a wheel project--hope to show pics later -maybe tonite
*get a hood ready for primer -friends truck
*haul off a load of junk to trade for a sbc 400 (fingers crossed on that one!)
*any "extra time" try to fit a set of headers on my 46 ford truck



and when i get done with all this....i'll take the rest of the day off--(which will prob be saturday!!!)

I've been feeling like I've been fighting off an infection for a week now. Nothing big, just a little off. Yesterday I scratched a little pin ***** of a scab on my leg that seemed to be sticking out weird. Pulled out a 3/4" wire from a wire wheel brush! Today I feel great. I think I was fighting off Tetanus.

I think vodka kills tetanus, not sure though.

wow sam that sounds like a weird deal for sure...but i've seen those little wire brush wires go everywhere so i believe ya..be careful out there!

2 hrs worth of body-work on a hood--4 hrs

an hour of texting to round up some help for this adventure

2 hrs worth of gathering up a tractor and tools plus hooking up a trailer loaded with junk- half a day...

an afternoon pulling a sbc 400 out of a 70 model car that has been on the ground for the last 25 years........ priceless.....


as for the "wheel project" i'm still not sure if it is gonna work.....[S

Felt like I was in a time warp this evening. I had a job in new jersey and as I was driving along a muscle car in a used car lot caught my attention. After slowing and stopping traffic I spied 3 gto's, a Buick gs, 6 various trans ams. A 69 GTX, a 70 Monte carlo and a big block nova! Wow, I was in heaven....sorry, no pics, it was too dark. I have to go back tomorrow so I will be taking pics....it felt like being back in 1970 again!!!...CR

Rant against corporations.
I work for a large tyre company, Said company now embarking on a stupid Japanese inspired "clean up" regime. I worked previously in the FOOD INDUSTRY and the expecting a leaky 60 year old building to gleam and shine like a effing laboratory. Its an effing TYRE shop....We work on cars, dirty cars, filthy cars, oil leaking cars. Chrissakes.... at end of tether.....
