If using metal-steel-what ever a person find, how can you tell what kind of metal it is? I have some different kinds of parts that came off of who knows what not car parts, :confused:and wondering if they can be welded into some I can use. I think that some of it came from A/C engines or like...
I like that! I want to build something similar to yours. I have a 31 Plymouth that I was thinking about putting a 34 Dodge grill on. I have the grill shell for the 31, but no insert. Not sure which way I'll go but will be making my own. I just can't see paying 1000. for an insert.
the 1/8...
talking about the grill insert. I looked on line and found someone who is building them. they want 1540.00 for the insert that would fit a 34 dodge shell. thats alum. and than chrome plated and polished. 1/4 inch apart(each tooth in grill.spaced) than one for 850. that's 3/8 inch apart.

When you find out about weather the drums from the 62-71 dodges work please let me know. I want to know if they will work on 31 Ply. axles.:cool: I have a 31 plymouth that I want to use the stock spindles and axle on and want to save money any way I can.
How do you repair potmetal before its rechromed? Have some parts that are badly pitted and some cracks. Are these parts not repairable?
MoPar or No Car
Or less your going to run a Mopar/mopar trans, I don't think it would work. My 56 Dodge runs a push button trans 2 speed. I'm tryin to make a 3speed trans work from a 62 Chrysler. Even there its hard to mate up the two.
dodge disc.
