Looking to see who use what and pros and cons.... Im looking to get a bench brake 36"ish Im also in need of a panel stepper... any homemade solutions?

figured Id tally up cost so far: Truck: $100 Sold Box -$100 Sold Motor Trans -$50 350/700r4 $250 G Body Diff w/Arms $100 Dropped Spindles $80 Air Bags (2) $100 So far $480 in hard parts not including fab materials :)

bolt in driveshaft!!!! just mocked up the drive shaft... took the long section of the original S10 long box 3 piece shaft added the tranny yoke and boom perfect fit [cl :D

its exactly 4" wider.... havent settled on tire size yet... thinkin around a 28" tall 8" wide in the back....

starting to mock up the G body diff... Its a few inches wider too :D

some small updates... finished extending the cowl drip section.... [;) picked up a G body diff and some boxed arms with poly urethane bushings... :) also snagged some dropped spindles.... :D

Hey I already have my fair share unfinished/unstarted projects around the yard to listen to the wifey nag about already.... I dont need your help :D do me a favor and stay in Alberta :eek: ;)

I toyed with that idea, but I like the "kickup" of the fender as they sit :cool:

agreed the gauges were massively over sized for the car... and the epic amount of switches present on the panel next to it was as disturbing lol :)

ah ok I get what your layin down.... im not opposed to the concept ..... just the extra work :D ..... but I may now always see it and have to change it later on lol.... here is some the drivers side cowl sectioning I did tonight.... got it all welded .... but sunset @7 pm wasn't conducive...

My Reasons to R+P vs Steering Box: 1 - No PS Pump needed 2 - Box is ugly as is the frame rails 3 - Will keep people guessing as to what it is
