I was told yesterday that my current position is being dissolved. I have been expecting this for a couple weeks now, but was verbally promised that I would be moved to another position that pays the same or more. The verbal promise has been broken and now I`m being offered an entry-level...

I see this a lot on craigslist too. I don`t really see a problem with it. I think we all know that this goes on and hey, if it helps get a rod on the road, I say amen.

That`s what I was thinking too. The tilt-away column was available on 67-68 Mustangs too.

I actually sold it for $600. But ....... I have to store it until May 2nd. I found a place to keep it until then, so no problem. I hope to start a nice thread soon about my new project. I`m going to post plenty of pics and even say how much I`m spending along the way. It should be fun. :)

I think comfort is the only issue. Put it where you want. For ease of entry / exit, you might consider a steering wheel "quick release". Always thought those were cool.

That is a rare intake, but not THAT rare ..... I don`t think he`ll get that kind of money, but them Mopar boys are a different breed. :)

I think they should be fine. I`ve thought of this before myself. Trailer leafs are typically pretty short, so the ride might be a tad harsh.

This "potential" buyer is from Ontario. He hasn`t contacted me today, so I`m thinking he flaked out. I asked him to email the tracking numbers for the priority mail. He`s sending a money order. :rolleyes:

I sold a 72 Longbed Chevy to a guy from Canada last year. It was for sale for months at $3500. He was just passing through with an empty trailer. He said it should bring $7000 in Canada.

If money were no object ..... I`d have the BATMOBILE, complete with Batman costume. I`d make my wife wear a Robin costume. I`ve love this car since I was a little kid !

I`ve got a guy that is "supposed" to be sending me $500. But .... I`ve heard that before .... :rolleyes: We`ll know more tomorrow.

I will not part it out. Why ? Because I need to get rid of the WHOLE truck. Selling off a few pieces will not help my situation, even if they brought more than $500. Money is not the issue, it`s that I need to move the whole truck. The sooner it`s gone, the sooner I can bring my `62 home. I...

I can`t believe that someone is sitting here telling me that this truck is overpriced at $500 ..... :confused: OK, so if $500 is so high, then what is the fair market value of this truck ?? $175 ??? I`ve asked for offers and nobody has made one, so yea, you may be right -- these old trucks...
