My plans on a new ride for a d driver.
Sounds pretty cool to me,maybe you could use a Chevy or GMC coe cab on a 1ton forward-control motorhome frame.Old motorhomes go for pretty cheap and you can shorten the frame to your needs.Just my 2cents. -

A Weally Wacked Wabbit!!
After I took a long look at this ride the more I liked the idea of it.But I think I would have used the rabbit truck body.Also I would power it a Chevy and not a Mopar(sorry Mopar fans).I guess you got to use what you got.Mmm I think I saw an old rabbit truck not to long ago....- ovred

Fess up!!! What kinda car did you drive in High School!?
It was a 1968 Ford Fairline 500 fastback,302 a/t back in 1980.Neat old car,wish I still had it.- ovred

Chevy BB on the shelf 20 yrs.
I think if it was my engine I would pull it back apart and have everything cleaned.I would also put a more streetable cam and lifters in it along with new rod and main bearings,oil pump and gaskit set.As for the SBC being the "norm" in fenderless rods,that maybe true but I would rather have the...- ovred

Need opinions on engine choice
I would go with the SBC,lightweight,powerfull,cheap to build.If you want big cu.in. I would go with the BBC,lighter then the BBF,cheaper to to build more h.p. then the Ford.But than again I have always been a Chevy man.:D I guess it's all in what you want,go fast or go Ford. LOL- ovred
