Love the look of frames with lightening holes along their length. Can they be sleeved with thin wall tubing? Seems like the use of heavy wall wouldn't really make it any lighter. Or, is it just for looks?

I'm wanting to mount a suicide front end on my car. The front frame horns will only allow for a 2" dia. tube. Do you think 2" dia. D.O.M. heavy wall would be adequate for a front spring mount? Will try to keep the car below 2500 lbs.

I have seen several builds on here with amazing subfloors built underneath the floorpans. Some of them put some frames i've seen to shame. I was wondering if a subfloor is necessary, could you just go with a slightly heavier gauge metal for the floorpan?

Anyone know if the aftermarket steering arms designed for the 48 ford passenger car spindles, will work on the 48 f1 truck spindles? I'm looking to convert my truck axle to cross steer.
