Can you snap a pic of the front frame/radiator support/etc. all together? Just curious how that's all connected.

This is looking great. I like these body styles. Used to have a 51 chevy two door hard top i wish i wouldn't have gotten rid of.

I love your build. I have a 85 Buick Regal fame, a 49 Pontiac 2dr. fastback and a Chevy 350.....[S Maybe using your build as a template for mine. Really like the Caddy mill and the rack and pinion set up. I also have some wrecking yard friends. Nice to have.;) Looking forward to seeing your progress.[cl

sub frame

Here are some pictures of how it goes together. The flat bar goes in between the two pieces that are welded on frame. Then there is a brace that holds the hood latch.

Thanks for the extra pics. I wasn't getting how the front sheet metal was going to attach to it. I thought that support was for the front bumper to attach to, but it looked way to short. I see now that is just the radiator support and there is another brace attached to that.

Are you going to run a front bumper?

Man this gets me in the mood for mine.. very interesed in seeing the back with the bumper in place finshed.. I was wondering what the early dodge bumper would look like on these cars.. New where one was too in the woods..kept meaning to grab it..

little things

I got to work very little lately. I am going to run a front bumper. Sorry for not answering your ???s sooner Sam Fear. I'm still working out details.
I did work on putting fender liners on my car. I really hate fender liners. I don't know what it is. I can fix a car from a bad wreck and I will do fender liners last. Well I trim the liners from the 51 Chevy. Still have some tweaking, but for the most part they are in there.

Been doing a little bodywork. Got latches in the doors and lined them up. Have not had a whole lot of time lately. I get a hour here a hour there. The right inner wheel liner did not come out very well. It was in pretty bad shape. If any one knows where I can find one I would like to know

some flare

Well at ride height I was not happy with with how far I could turn the wheels. I like the way a car looks with some of the wheel and tire hidden by the fenders. So I was looking at different autos to find a flare I could use. I came up with a 80 Ford van. It was a little longer so I cut it in half. I'm not finish yet but I will share what I did so far.

I really like the way your 51 is turning out. Especially like the rear wheel openings. I owned a 51 Fleetline that I never did any work on but I always wanted to use the tear drop wheel openings from a tri-5 Chevy.

I like how you did those front fender flares, I dont think I have seen it done that way before. Definitely interested in seeing a full shot of how they look with the wheels back on it

alittle closer

Worked on the fenders some more. I also did the lip with 3/8 rod so if the tire does touch the fender it should not damage the fender or the tire. I did some more work on the inter fenders too.
