We are working on a 53 studebaker post. There is a rectanglecutout under where the pass seat would be . It's factory bead rolled with a lip. Right now it looks like an air intake in it. No luck on Google even looked under repl panels.
I used sherwin Williams all purpose
Sprayed great in bad conditions , they mix colors for you and are always having sales, that's the house paint store not the car paint store.
You can also harden it. Not sure about holding up since I'm still wiring the motor but the semi gloss is a nice satin...
I am usin a proportiioning valve not fully adjust since its not wired , ill check the push rod but the petal and plunger only go in a hair so I don't think that's it have resid valves too disc and drum
Why not do a frame backhalf?
Not sure what you are working on or with it if you wanna drop a mini truck a hair lower you would build a frame out of 2x3 or 2x4 from the fire wall back and welt it to the front clip . That's if it is a factory frame for a tube frame. Or like he said cut the frame...
So my breaks lock up on e I push in the pedal and stay that way . Manual breaks Chevy dual res master cylinder typical full size ford discs up front . The rear are drums and seem fine . Did this when I bled the breaks a month or so ago but released while setting now it's locked again! Can stand...

My beer comes in a can ! The solo cups are for mixing oil base paint. No laquer forgot and used one for my filler primer and it turned to wet tissue paper just as I poured it out! Close one ! Here's the truck I do recommend the sherwin all surface as far as a mix able oil base
It's a 44 gmc I have a build thread on here just haven't updated since body work started. Can't decide to paint the actual firewall off white, it's getting the same colored scallops on the sides, or from the body line for the fenders forward. Thoughts ?
Gotter painted
I used sherwin willams all surface , a little high but it was 30perc off. Lays down like a champ sprayed in 40 degree weather with the wind blowing over full solo cups!
My way
I had a pitted dash, used converter on the pits angle grinder with a cup brush then cleared it stained a little brown around the pits I loved it
