yeah have done that with a portable power saw for light guage steel, dunno about it cutting diamond plate though, try it but be careful -- oh and wear earmuffs cos it is VERY loud.

Iirc a bit of hammer work on the tunnel will give you enough room for the transmission.

Are you certain you are not mistaken. For a start you don't have pigtails and you are not very short (or do you wear high heels) :D:D:D:D but you are right in that ancestors can be interesting, [P and it keeps herindoors occupied while we play in our sheds :)

I dunno how many is perfect in theory. but I like several projects(which might not all be cars) on the go at once, that way while I'm scrounging several projects can advance a bit while I am just looking and hunting and planning. [;)
