quick update I pulled that old ford motor.......it was an early 60s 6cyl w c4. I have a small block for it. ive removed a lot of bondo....ALOT!!!! got the front seats put in and im looking for a glide or th350 now. the wannabe sidepipes are gone...I also removed the unibrow the car had...

heres a pic of the hood... the seam looks to be filled and round corners but corners look factory. ANY IDEAS WHAT YEAR CHEVY

ok I bought a 50 styleline....the hood I have has rounded corners. I know this is a popular mod in the custom scene but as I look at my hood the corners are rounded at the factory. what years did chevy do this????? ill post a pic shortly. as I understand it the hood corners are squared in these...

YEAH there are "lake pipes" started...not sure if im going to fix them and keep them.thats where i pulled a s**t ton of bondo off.they used lot of bondo to "blend" them into the fender.

no magnet.....i can tap n hear the bondo. the taillights were frenched so i know theres alot back there. FUN FUN

1950 chevy it wasn't rust repair(most of it), that's what kills me....this car is very solid, a little rust in the rockers(minimal)and a little in the left rear quarter....floors and trunk pan are completely rust free. The other trouble spot was when they cut the drip rails off they put 1/2...

1950 chevy update ok so a quick update.....I opened up the back windows....the eyebrow was b razed on top of the fender, WORST OF ALL-- whoever did this believed bondo was the answer. The car is mostly rust free but im pulling bondo up to half inch thick. IT BOGGLES MY...

ok,i just bought a 50 chevy fleetline, 2 dr. car came with a title and a vin tag(loose).Heres my issue according to what ive read vin should be on driver door a pillar,my car has no visible holes for vin tag,i also checked to see oif someone filled the holes.i cant find any evidence of this.car...

heres the funny part...im a chevy guy...I close the deal..seller only said had 6 cyl in it,Inever really thought about it...figured it to be a 235.aftr I close the deal I look closely and see the ford stsrter and distributor....MY WORLD STOPPED SPINNING FOR A SECOND....Ehhhh ill prob leave...

not sure yet...if Ican get it running for cheap probably....may iI ask why?????

its a 50 by the way....not 51... Ok I need a lil help with something...if you look at the headlights youll notice one has had a little fabrication done.Im not scared of a little work but is this custom or is it a kit,Kinda like french kit is.

rear windows so im looking for opinions....the previous owner "filled" the back windows...welded metal in but left the glass in. SO......leave snd take glass out and finish inside or open windowx back up....WHAT DO YOU THINK?
