Well guys, it’s been a while since I last posted. We found out right before Christmas that we’ll be welcoming a new rat rodder to this world in August. We’ve also made an offer on a different house with a 25x35 garage so waiting for all of that to go through before I can start working on the roadster again. As it turns out, there’s not much room to move around in the 12x16 garage in town. Then you throw 4 bikes, 2 kayaks, a bbq grill, and other stuff into the mix and there’s no extra space.
We need more Rat Rodders in the world.
I feel your pain on moving, my new 30 x 40 garage is so full of leaf over house stuff there is little room for the project
I was just thinking of you yesterday morning, wondering if we'd ever hear from you again, after the big change of life. Here we are, hearing from you. Good.
Congratulations on the little one.
Congrats!!!!! [cl[cl
I can vaguely remember the excitement of new kids coming into the world.
My youngest is 43
Montana to Missouri? That ought to be different.
Enjoy your new life.
It’s been way too long. My son, Atlis, is now 7 weeks old and life is finally starting to slow down a little so I’m able to get back out to the shop.
I’ve never really liked the way I did a few things on the roadster to make her a roller to move so I’m starting to redo it now. Startling with the motor mounts. I used some flimsy universal sbc mounts because they were cheap. So I hacked them off and came up with a more beefed up design. I’m still not finished but it’s a move in the right direction.
Congratulations!
It just seems like yesterday my kids were that little. Now my youngest is getting married next week.
It goes by in the blink of an eye.
Glad to see you back at the project too.
