Got the tank brackets made today and then got the sump done up. I’ll have to install a couple of bungs up at the top to make it to where if I ever want to put EFI on it I can.

Tank turned out really good JB, You won't have to fill up very often. [cl[P[P

That’s my goal bud. I’ve gotta take this ol’ girl from Havre, Mt to Spokane, WA down to Salt Lake City and back up to Red Lodge, MT. There are lots of areas on the trip where we may not see a gas station for 100 miles so the further I can go, the better off I will be.

Awesome build!

Are you interested in selling the original radiator shroud? I'm looking for one for my '22 roadster build. Your progress is much greater than mine!

I may be interested in letting it go. Had I read your comment before this weekend I would have brought it on my trip with me. I just drove through Minneapolis early this morning.

After taking a few days off, I finally figured out the gas pedal. And seeing as what I had was a bit too small for a brake, decided to make a different pedal for it.

Alright so this is gonna be a kinda long one and a surprise to most as I don’t post personal things on the internet so here it goes.

Before finishing Leslie’s car this spring her and I had split up and somehow through fate, I got in touch with my high school sweetheart. She had recently got out of a divorce and had moved to North Eastern Mo where her family moved during her senior year. As it turns out, she still had pretty deep feelings for me which shocked the hell out of me but because I had moved so many times in the last 10 years, she didn’t know where I was or how to get in touch with me. Anyhow, she’s got an 8 year old son and an 18year old adopted daughter who have become my world. Needless to say, my life and my priorities have changed drastically which is why I finished Leslie’s car up so quickly(along with trying to go to RCR) and started on the roadster. So this past weekend we got married after long distance dating since the beginning of the year and due to not meeting deadlines, I have had to drop out of the competition and put the car on hold until I can move all of my junk out to Mo. I will be back eventually though but this time with help from my new found family. And maybe, being closer to a lot of you I will be able to meet you in person someday.

Congratulations to you both.

Now, if we can only talk you into cutting the honeymoon short so we can watch more of your building, we'll be happy.

That’s a good one Mac. Unfortunately, it’s not the honeymoon that gets in the way of the build(s). I will be transplanting myself in Missouri because her kids’ family is all out there. So if anyone has a 3 or 4 position car hauler they would like to let me borrow, I would be very grateful lol.
